Q: Where are the jobs located?

A: Many of the jobs are in downtown San Francisco, easily accessible by BART or MUNI. However, we also provide jobs throughout the entire Bay Area

Q: What are the terms and obligations of a job with The Student Source and Staff Source?

A: You have no financial obligations to us.

Q: Can I find a job if I am only available for a couple of weeks?

A: Possibly! Often applicants need a short-term job while they look for a job on their own. Others need a job while they wait for one to begin. We will find a match for your skills and availability. Our applicants are amazed at how often we find help for them for such short periods.

Q: What are the chances of finding a full-time job through The Student Source and Staff Source?

A: The chances are good.  We offer temp to hire based on full-time or 640 hours, and also direct placement or a combination of both depending on the needs of our client.

Q: How long can I work for The Student Source and Staff Source?

A: You can choose to work with us for as long as you wish.  We have instances of applicants starting work at a client’s office on a short-term basis and still being there several weeks and months later if they have not gone perm.

Q: How do we get paid?

A: If you are a temporary or contract employee, you are paid every two weeks.  You complete a time card at the end of each pay period or at the end of each assignment, which ever is first.  A payroll schedule, time card and optional direct deposit form will be given to you during your interview.  Checks are available for pick up on payday or will be mailed if you choose not to have a direct deposit.
